The department aims at educating students on various areas of both theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry. The department is committed to provide PUC course which combines curriculum, practicals, project works, seminars & science exhibition. The laboratories are well equipped to carryout regular practicals. To fulfill the needs of advanced learners, the department organizes CET/NEET coaching.

Ravindra G. Qualification: M.Sc. Bed. Experience in Years: 14

Mr. Ravindra has completed his post-graduation from Kuvempu university Shivamogga and has completed B.Ed. from Dharwad university. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor for REVA Independent PU College since 2022. He has an extensive hand on experience in the practice of chemistry and solid grasp of its theories. He is expertise in coaching competitive exams like CET, NEET and JEE. He also holds 8+ years of experience in coaching competitive exams.

Mrs. Sowmya H C Qualification: M.Sc B.Ed Experience in Years: 12

Mrs. Sowmya H C is a dedicated and passionate Chemistry lecturer with a specialization in Organic Chemistry. She completed her M.Sc. & B.Ed. at the prestigious Bangalore University and has cleared KSET in the year 2019. She has completed her Diploma in Food Technology, with a keen interest in teaching, Mrs. Sowmya H C has been a faculty member at our institution for the past one year and carries the vast experience of 12 years overall. She possesses a remarkable ability to simplify complex chemical concepts, making them accessible to students of varying backgrounds. Her dynamic teaching style, combined with practical demonstrations and hands-on experiments, ensures an engaging classroom environment that fosters active learning.

Ms. Bhagyashree Qualification: M.Sc B.Ed Experience in Years: 3

Ms. Bhagyashree is an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Lecturer with handful experience of more than 3 years. She has completed her M.Sc. from prestigious Mangalore University and B. Ed from Akkamahadevi university Bijapur. She has a passion for inspiring students to explore the fascinating world of chemistry. Possessing a strong background in the subject, she is committed to delivering engaging lectures, conducting practical laboratory sessions, and fostering a positive learning environment.

The Department of Biology at RIPU offers opportunities in a wide range of disciplines Including Genetics, Cell and Developmental biology, Evolution, Ecology etc. Our curriculum provides an introductory overview into each of these areas and trains every Student to the core. The activities of the Department are centered into theory and practical with contiguous Laboratory space. The Department also trains the students for Medical Science which gives confidence to them to appear for NEET exams.

Ms. Niveditha T B Qualification: M.Sc B.Ed Experience in Years: 6

Ms. Niveditha T B has completed master’s degree in BOTANY from Gnana Bharathi College, Post graduation and research centre at Bangalore University, carry 6 years of experience in teaching. Presently working as Asst. Professor in Biology for REVA Independent PU College since 2024. Has very good experience in training students for PU Board as well as Competitive Exams like NEET & CET. Has attended many Faculty development programs and orientation programs organized from different colleges and universities.

Ms. Meghana Qualification: M.Sc Experience in Years: 2

Ms. Meghana K is a quick learner who can absorb new ideas and adopt new challenges. She is very passionate about her work and set realistic goals and display professionalism in her undertaking. She is very passionate about helping students, feel confident and succeed. She inspires students to explore biology by challenging them to create an effective learning. She has completed her M.Sc. from Bangalore university and has attended various seminars and conferences.

We actively engage in seminars, Workshops, CET/NEET classes to upgrade our knowledge. We try to move beyond the facts and the book knowledge as often as we can pushing all students to synthesize and link concept deepening their understanding and creating curiosity. Mr. Madhu KP completed his Post graduation from Bangalore University in the department of Physics and has completed his B.Ed in the year 2008. He carries 14 years of experience in educational sector. Presently working as Asst. Professor for REVA Independent PU College since 2010. He has attended several workshops in various Institutions and also carries the experience as the content developer. He is expertise in coaching competitive exams like CET, NEET & JEE and holds 7 years of experience in coaching competitive exams.

Mrs. Soumya V. Qualification: M.Sc, B.Ed Experience in Years: 11

Ms Soumya V. have been teaching for 11 years. She believes that fluency with physics for all students is a goal worth working towards because of the powerful tools they give students to relate to the world. The power of physics to explain and predict has always fascinated and students learn best when they are actively doing something –conducting an experiment, planning a project, working a problem. I try to link curricular to real world applications and so i hope to develop an understanding of physics as an ongoing creative process in which all students can participate.

Mr. Kalmesh Hugar holds Master’s degree in Physics & B.Ed from Karnataka University-Dharwad, He carries the huge experience of more than 13 years. Mr. Ashwathanarayana D G, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, REVA Independent PU College, He has completed Master of Science (M.Sc), Bangalore University specializing in Applied Mathematics, also qualified in K-SET conducted by University of Mysore. He has 11 years of teaching experience handling Mathematics classes for PU students. He also trained students for both Board and competitive exams like CET, IIT-JEE, and SAT. He helped students learn problem solving skills and to see the importance of Mathematics in everyday lives. He is actively involved in organizing various activities for students. He has adopted the most innovative techniques in teaching which has made learning enjoyable to students

Mrs. Vinutha. R Qualification: M.Sc, M.Phil, B.Ed Experience in Years: 19

Mrs. Vinutha. R completed M.Sc in Mathtematics, M.Phil in Maths, B.Ed in Science methodology from Bangalore University, having 19 years experience in teaching for PU Board and competitive exams like CET, IEEE, JEE main and advanced. Presently working as Lecturer for REVA Independent PU College since 2018 and have attended several Faculty development programs conducted by various Institutions.

Mrs Manjula N

Mrs. Manjula N completed her master’s degree from Bangalore University in the department of Computer Applications and B.Ed from Bangalore University. She carries 11 years of experience Education sector. Presently working as Asst. Professor for REVA Independent PU College. She has attended several FDP & Seminars conducted by various Institutions. Her teaching philosophy centres on creating dynamic learning experiences that bridge theory with real-world applications empowering students to solve complex problems through structured thinking. Through her mentorship, she instils a passion for innovation and analytical thinking.

The Department of Commerce and Management was formed on 2014 with the objectives of promoting Research, teaching and training in the frontier fields of Commerce. Mr. Prajwal KM Qualification: M.Com (Gold Medalist), KSET Experience in Years: 5

Mr. Prajwal has completed his Master degree in Accounts and Finance from REVA University and has won Gold Medal for securing highest CGPA in M.Com. He was honored with BEST OUTGOING STUDENT FOR THE YEAR 2020 in M.Com. He has qualified in KSET examination conducted by university of Mysore.

He has participated in "INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INNOVATIONS IN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT: ECONOMIC GROWTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" conducted by REVA University. Ms. Divyashree N is an Alumnus of REVA Group of Educational Institution, she holds degree in Commerce from Bangalore University and Master's Degree MBA from ICFAI University, Sikkim specializing in Finance. Areas of interest are Accounting and Taxation. Well-versed in Tally and she has keen knowledge in computers. She has participated in seminars and voluntarily took part in REVA activities.

Mr. Dinesha T Qualification: Masters of Economics Experience in Years: 11

Mrs. Bhargavi M S holds a master’s degree in commerce from Shri Balaji P G College Anantapur with a specialization in Finance. Mr. Narasimha Murthy N, completed Master degree in Arts from Bengaluru University, and has 9 years of experience in teaching. Presently working as Asst. Mr. Manoj Kumar Qualification: MA, B.Ed, NET Experience in Years: 21 Years

Mr. Manoj Kumar has completed has Master degree from Muzaffarpur University Bihar and carries the rich experience of 21 years in the field of teaching.

He has completed B.Ed and NET from Bhimrao Ambedkar College Muzaffarpur and he is very well known for his unique teaching skills.

Mrs. Pooja Kumari. Qualification: MA, B.Ed Experience in Years: 8

Mrs. Pooja Kumari has completed her Master degree from LMNV university Darbhanga, Bihar and B.Ed from Bangalore University Karnataka. Currently working for REVA Independent PU College as an Assistant Professor in the department of Hindi. She has attended several Seminars and webinars conducted from various Colleges and Universities all over India. She has made many paper presentations in various universities across INDIA and well known for her various teaching methodologies.

The English program engages the intellects and imaginations of English majors through a coherent overview of literatures in English. It leads them to read texts closely and think critically, to write with clarity and compose well-argued essays, to know how to conduct productive research in literary studies, to experience literature as a powerful way of knowing about cultures and the lived life, and to speak and write publicly about literature and life. The English program at REVA also teaches critical reading of literary genres and analytical writing. The offering in English is designed to foster good writing, effective speaking, and heightened understanding of culturally significant texts. We encourage students majoring in English to develop their responsiveness to the literary imagination and their sensitivity to literary form through disciplined attention to language, historical contexts, and to critical and scholarly methods.

In the year 2013 Mr. Kumar participated in National level English literature festival and won first prize in paper presentation. Paper titled (Ceaser or Brutus that's the question).He is actively participating in wildlife activities and working as a volunteer in wildlife helping both state & central government. Recently Mr. Kumar Participated in All India synchronized Asian Elephant population estimation in the year 2017 & Tiger census in the year 2018. Currently he is doing research on Asian Elephant under the guidance of Surendra Verma (senior scientist ANCF).

Ms. Gayathri Qualification: MA B.Ed Experience in Years: 3

Ms. Gayathri holds a master’s degree in English Literature from Bangalore central university where they pursued a profound exploration of literary masterpieces, linguistic nuances, and the transformative power of storytelling. This academic journey has fortified Gayathri's love for the written word and ignited an unwavering passion to share the wonders of English with our vibrant academic community. She carries the valuable experience of 2 years. She was the best outgoing students at her master’s degree. Ms. Gayathri has completed her B.Ed from university of Bangalore.

REVA First Grade degree college library has a spacious library with a seating capacity for 44 users. The library has a collection of  above 3000 books of all subjects related to all Degree and PU courses and library maintains a separate reference section with collection of Encyclopedia's, Dictionaries, Handbooks, Atlases, Students Project Reports, etc. It regularly subscribes good number of national, international journals, 10 Magazines/Periodicals (Kannada, English, Hindi,) and 9 leading Newspapers in all local languages are available in the library,  Every year, new books and journals are added to the library in a substantial way.

Mr. Mahendra Kumar B M Qualification: MA, B.Ed, MLISc

Mr. Mahendra Kumar B M, Librarian at REVA First Grade College library, Sanjaynagar campus. Prior to which he has done internship in library science as part of course curriculum at Indian Institute of Management (IIM-B) Library, Bengaluru and has completed Master Degree in Library Science from Bangalore University with Web Designing and Engineering and Technological Information. He has secured 3rd Rank in M.L.I.Sc. and have Seven years of experience in the field of Library Management. He has Qualified K-SET and UGC-NET in the year 2013 and 2014 respectively and participated in various national and international conferences and seminars. His areas of interests are Library Automation, Library Digitization, Creation of Institutional Repository, Library Networking and Online Database.

Bharathi Balakrishna Qualification: MA Experience in Years: 18 Years
