The two year course is available in many combinations with subjects like Economics, Business Studies, Business Math, Accountancy, Computer Science, Statistics, History, Geography, Commerce etc. These subjects are taken as per the combinations offered by the colleges. Commerce subjects are an open window to fields like Accountancy, Marketing and Business Management.

These are some avenues for commerce students:

The opportunity to take up Commerce in Graduate courses (B Com). There are many combinations available. For example, Accounting and Information group, Finance group, Computer Science group, Economics, Sales and Distribution group, Human Resource group, Export Management, Insurance group and taxation group, International Business etc. You could decide the most interesting topics and shortlist them for your course. Computer application courses like BCA are another option.

The wide application of computer programs in finance and management provides many job opportunities. Business Management is another area where commerce students can pursue their graduate courses. Example BBA and later MBA. Pursuing Law and other fields by taking up integrated Law programs after II PUC; this could be done by students from other streams as well.
